Reports overview
Reports Center (/reporting) is the analytics hub for CRM, marketing, tasks, calls, and messaging. Library sections (Home, Favorites, Shared Reports, My Reports, Scheduled Reports) sit above category folders (Contacts, Sales, Tasks, Activity, Lead Sources, Calls, Messaging, Deals insights, Appointments).

Who can do this
Reporting permission.
Before you begin
- CRM data exists (contacts, deals, activities)

- Optional: scheduled delivery recipients identified
What you'll accomplish
- Know where to browse vs run ad-hoc reports
- Favorite saved for recurring KPI
Step-by-step procedure
Browse library
- Sidebar → Reports Center → Home (
/reporting). - Scan featured reports and recent activity.
- Open Favorites for pinned dashboards.
- Check Shared Reports (team) and My Reports (personal saves).
- Review Scheduled Reports for automated email exports.
Pick a category
- Expand Categories group.
- Choose domain matching your question (e.g. Calls for dialer coaching).
- Follow Run a report to filter and export.
Governance
- Owners validate metrics monthly against finance.
- Managers favorited views per team; avoid duplicate scheduled sends.
Extended guidance
Treat Scheduled Reports like cron jobs—name owners who fix them when filters break. New hires should bookmark Home plus one category aligned to their role (sales vs marketing). When numbers disagree with module analytics, note date timezone boundaries first.
Practice scenarios
Pin two reports to Favorites, schedule one weekly email, confirm recipients receive consistent filters.
Sandbox validation
Repeat the procedure in a test workspace or with two internal colleagues before customer-facing launches. Document who approved each step (marketing, legal, ops). Screenshot Verify your work outcomes for audit trails. When something fails, capture the URL, role, timestamp, and exact UI label clicked—Support resolves tickets faster with that context. Re-read See also links after your first successful run; adjacent topics often cover edge cases you have not hit yet.
Team rollout checklist
Assign a single owner for this workflow per workspace. Schedule a 30-minute handoff training with screen share. Add the See also links to your internal Notion or wiki. Re-verify after each major product release (labels move occasionally). Pair junior staff with a senior reviewer for the first live execution. Log lessons learned in your team retro—especially permission surprises and integration timeouts.
Keep learning
Bookmark this page and the Product module map. After major releases, re-walk Step-by-step procedure—UI labels move occasionally. Share feedback with your workspace Admin so Help stays aligned with how your team actually works.
Verify your work
- Report renders charts/tables without error
- Favorite appears under Favorites
- Scheduled report email received on time
Tips
Start every Monday with Home → Favorites instead of rebuilding filters.
Troubleshooting
| Empty category | Module disabled or no data in range | | Missing Reports Center | Role lacks reporting permission | | Scheduled report blank | Recipient spam filter; verify filters |
